Fest Improvements

Hey Fest Fam!

YOU are the reason we get to do this festival year after year. With that understanding, we continue to invest in our infrastructure to make your festival experience the best possible experience it can be. We take fan feedback to heart and if there is something you’d like to see us improve, feel free to drop us a line – info@countryfest.

Here’s what’s been keeping us busy in the off-season…

UPGRADE: Addt'l water refill stations

We want to make sure our fans stay safe and hydrated! We’ve added two more free water refill and misting stations to the concert grounds. You can find them in front of the Shirt Shop, near Jack Daniel’s Sports Bar and the Zyn Saloon Stage.

NEW: Front of House Jumbotron

You asked and we delivered! A new jumbotron hangs near the Front of House (the sound tower) to improve the experience for fans in General Admission.

UPGRADE: Bud Light Crossroads Stage

We hear you! The crowd and energy at the top of the hill are insane…and a bummer if you can’t get in on it. We’ve added additional speakers to this area so now ALL fans can feel the show.

NEW: Shower House

The 1987-era shower house in the South Campground is long gone! In its place stands a new state-of-the-art concrete constructed facility. With over four times the number of shower stalls as the original structure and an added mirror outlet area, this new building will decrease lines and offer an overall better showering experience for fans.

UPGRADE: Gravel road completion

Three years later, this project is finished! Roads in the South, North, and West Campgrounds areas will get a final layer of blue granite in 2023, completing the festival’s 25+ miles of gravel roads! Designed to not wash out, this granite cuts down on dust substantially.

NEW: Addt'l campsites, West Campground

We’ve outgrown our 7,000 campsites! To accommodate our growing festival family, we’ve added 150 campsites in the West Campground. These new sites, along with the new Staff Camping area, make for 7,500 campsites on the festival grounds!

NEW: More cabins

In the off season, we’re marrying couples on the festival grounds! In order to serve more of their guests with on-site accommodations, we’ve added five additional duplex cabins to the existing four in the Corporate area behind the event center. Eighteen total units make for a convenient and cozy lodging option and/or an additional prep area option for the wedding party…all within walking distance to the reception/ceremony sites. Did you meet the love of your life at the festival? Bring your love story full circle and send your wedding inquiry to [email protected]

NEW: Staff-exclusive camping

To streamline staff’s entry and exit, while providing a space to recharge, we’ve added 350 campsites and 1,200 parking spots to the new employee campground. This area is located just east of the North Campground. Interested in working or volunteering at the festival? See opportunities here.

NEW: Bars + charities

We’re always looking for ways to give back to our community and area/national nonprofits and organizations. This year, charities will staff each of the four stages/bars on-site, and a portion of drink sales from that bar will benefit the organization. Participating organizations include The Jayna Kelly Memorial FoundationJoshua’s Camp, and others. To raise money for your organization or to volunteer with one of the existing charities on-site, learn more here.

NEW: Clear Bag Policy

As the festival continues to grow, your safety is our top priority. A Clear Bag Policy is in effect for 2023. Any bag larger than 4.5” x 6” MUST be clear to enter the concert grounds. Any size, any style of the clear bag is welcome. Camelbacks welcome – please be sure they are empty to get through the concert gates (fill ‘er up at the free water station in front of the Shirt Shop! Not only will this policy help us keep you safe, but we also anticipate fans getting through the concert gates quicker. Note: before getting to gate security, please remove your lawn chair from its bag (or leave the bag at your campsite).
