Here’s what’s been keeping us busy in the off-season…
We always say once you go VIP, it’s hard to settle for anything less. It just got harder. VIP-ers can look forward to a brand new VIP Kitchen and serving area! The new space doubles the serving capacity, serving speed and dramatically increases cooking efficiency for our caterers, which all means increased meal quality for our Fest Fam.
Four new duplex cabins now stand in the Corporate area of the festival grounds behind the Event Center. Eight total units make for a convenient and cozy lodging option for our corporate partners and a prep area for weddings held off-season on the Fest grounds…all within walking distance to the reception/ceremony sites. Each year we cover more and more of the festival’s 25+ miles of gravel roads with new blue granite gravel. This year, the North Campground and Car Parking areas will get a facelift with a layer of blue granite for 2022! This granite is designed to not wash out and cuts down on the dust substantially.
Like an Uber at Bar Close, the wait for a Campground Taxi can be a bit long at peak times. Get to the party faster with the Campground Shuttle! The Campground Shuttle will run in a closed-loop, stopping at multiple drop-off/pick-up points around the campgrounds, bringing you to the gate of the concert grounds.
You guys love merch! In order to speed up lines at checkout, and improve the overall experience, we’re adding a Country Fest merch booth at the bottom of the hill in Radio Row. Country Club members, don’t forget to bring your Club Member ticket to redeem your discount!
As we continue to grow, we outgrow some of our older buildings. This year, the This Bud’s for You Stage Stage will double in size! We are going to literally “raise the roof!” This will create better traffic flow, easier access to drinks, and, of course, a better show experience.
Attending an event with a food allergy or special diet can be…complicated. New this year to the Country Fest mobile app: the Food Finder! Locate food you can eat or your favorite festival grub with a quick glance at the map.
Sneak a peek at clothing, hats and other merch sold on-site. Remember, quantities are limited so make a stop at the Shirt Shop when you get on-site sooner rather than later.
