Jacob Martin, an American country/rock band known for their catchy songwriting and their energy filled live performances, was created in 2007.

After having played in many bands over the years, singer/songwriter extraordinaire Jacob “Martin” Ronfeldt, from Sioux City, Iowa finally decided to put together his own musical vision after connecting with Swiss born guitarist Marco Kielholz. Though starting out as a rock band, it soon became clear that the true calling and direction of the band, was to mix the best of both Jacob’s country roots with, guitarist and backing vocals, Marco Kielholz's rock background.
